LernBar
The Mission
Media for self-learning should be as easy to create as a set of slides! This allows learners to benefit from creative and didactically appealing media that run on all end devices! The basic idea behind LernBar was to write a virus in 2003 that would infect learning management systems and make them usable.
Die LernBar
The LernBar offers the integration of various media and question types and a structure that clearly distinguishes between exam-relevant content and additional knowledge during learning. The "What You See is What You Get" authoring environment has been inspiring authors for years.
The LernBar is continuously being developed by studiumdigitale at Goethe University Frankfurt and offers a professional look and feel on all end devices. It can be embedded directly into Moodle, but also ILIAS, OLAT,... courses via the "Learning Package" activity and thus also offers special added value for EUt+ teaching. The learning units (html5) also run without a learning management system and can be placed directly on a web server.
We offer free licenses and training for all employees and lecturers at h_da.

...and much more can be implemented with the LernBar as a tool.
We have also successfully used the tool for students who created their own content in a learning by teaching scenario.
