Digitization in teaching - innovative ways of learning

We live in a digitalized world, and digital has long since found its way into (university) teaching. But what does this mean in concrete terms and what is on offer at h_da?

Multifaceted

Digitalization in university teaching has many facets. These range from e-learning platforms that provide access to course materials and interactive content, to lecture recordings, digital communication and collaboration tools, electronic examinations and virtual reality learning environments that offer immersive learning experiences. Artificial intelligence is also playing an increasing role in teaching/learning contexts.
In hybrid scenarios or blended learning formats such as the inverted classroom, the respective advantages of face-to-face and online learning can be profitably combined.

Such digital approaches enrich university teaching, promote flexibility, interaction and innovation and prepare our students for the demands of an increasingly digitalized working world.

Where can I get suggestions and support?

The E-Learning team of the Department of University Didactics & Digitization (HDD) offers you information and support on the topic of digitization in teaching. The central question here is how digital technologies can be used didactically in teaching in a meaningful way.
